I’m constantly amazed when parents ask me, “do you really think sugar has an affect on my child’s behaviour?”
A couple of years ago, Jamie Oliver (one of my favourite chefs http://www.jamieoliver.com/) approached the local schools with hopes of changing the way they fed the children. The show was awesome – he even went to the children’s homes and taught the parents how to cook. The results, just published are remarkeable!
An independent study shows the performance of 11-year-old pupils eating Oliver’s meals improved by up to 8% in science and as much as 6% in English, while absenteeism due to ill-health fell by 15%.
I wish someone would dove-tail Jamie’s experiment with getting the children adjusted. What could a clear nerve system do for a child – better memory, better concentration, less figity, better food absorption and assimilation and ultimately – unlimited potential!
Life & light,
Kevin
